About Annette
Annette Heydon grew up on a farm in Kildare, just 20km from Rathvilly. After finishing her studies in languages and marketing she studied to be a TEFL teacher and has not looked back since. She started teaching English in Spain in 1996, she has also taught in Belgium, Germany, Argentina and of course in Ireland.
In the almost twenty years she has been teaching, she has continued to improve her knowledge and qualifications, she was granted the Certificate in TEFL (CELTA), Diploma in TEFL (DELTA) and also received a Masters in Intercultural Studies.
While having taught children and adolescents, her main focus has always been teaching adults. She has taught with the British Council, International House, Linguarama and with many large companies including Alstom, Danone, Daimler Chrysler, Deutsche Bank, Ineco and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
